Easily Create Content from Anywhere

Blog
With a webblog you can publish your content from your mom’s house, in Korea, your business or any location you are at. You can even use an IPhone to write posts, upload photos, edit pages, and manage comments.
Website
A website requires access to the source files. With each addition and modification you should connect with 2 servers:
- Your local system the source files are maintained on.
- Your web server where all your public files are hosted for visitors to access.
Some websites have CMS (content management systems). In this case you can publish your content easily from any location that has connectivity. CMS usually comes at a price yet this is exactly what WordPress is, totally free!
Connect with Customers and Subscribers

Blog
In my view this is one of the biggest advantages of owning a web blog. Having a blog commenting strategy will bring more interested people to your webblog for the right reasons. Additionally you can allocate an area on your webblog specifically for client feedback. This really helps give your business a face on the internet (branding). Every blog post you make is opened to comment unless you specify differently. Customers, visitors, or prospects can willingly sign up for your web-blog and become active members.
Website
Generally websites are static content that may reside in the same state for years. Websites are not typically intended or programmed to allow for visitor interaction other than a contact or lead forms. A business that wants to encourage visitor participation usually adds a blog with some social widgets.
Easily Express and Share Opinions Online

Blog
This is an outstanding feature of a blog. Whether it’s a pet peeve, a business opinion, or technical writing your blog allows for instant publication of your content. You can use Google’s blog pinging service to inform Google of your blog. Every WordPress blog also has an RSS feed
Website
A static website contains your product offerings and services. Websites are usually not updated as frequently as blogs. For the most part people visit your site to learn about your business, they visit your blog to get a mental picture of the people behind it.
Relationship Building Through Reader Reaction

Blog
If you have a website and blog working in harmony, it’s a fantastic opportunity to get feedback from people that use your products. A blog powered website offers the best of both worlds. You can install plugins and turn your blog into a store that sells products. Your visitors can actually buy products and comment on their experience. If you offer good products and value client feedback it’s a great way to cater to your clients and improve your business.
Website
Forming relationships begins with conversation. On your website visitors can use your contact form or phone you. But what if they want to just leave a comment now? A blog has the extra appeal of easily opening up the line of conversation. In the relationship marketing department the blog outperforms the website. A website is a one way message to the visitor, blog content is opened for discussion.
Simple and Easy for Non Techies

Blog
The minimum requirement for a blog owner is to know how to copy and paste from MS Word. There are many other features to blog ownership that you will naturally want to learn about blogging. In business and pleasure your content strategy will be different with your blog but the requirement will not. If you can use any word program, write your articles, copy, and paste; you can create web pages with a URL (uniform resource locator or web address).
Website
Publishing content to your website via FTP requires some experience with code and FTP (file transfer protocol). If your business does not have a web designer or programmer on staff you will likely need to contract this service out to experienced hands. It is best to include that in your budget. Publishing content to your website is not recommended for non-techies.

I tried wordpress personally but gave up given the learning curve and the cost involve in setup and maintenance. I ended using blogspot for my company website. Check out these ppl – http://www.blogmakeover.net they can change a blogspot into a total website look. Cool.
