The content you create for your blog needs to genuinely and unconditionally share information that others will find useful or it may not see many visitors.
Social Engagement
You can add Twitter and Facebook widgets too. Your friends and connections in social networks can interact with your blog. People visiting your blog can see what you are saying on Twitter and, if they like what they see, can follow you on Twitter. You can also use the standard RSS feed http://galearning.com/feed/ that comes with your blog to broadcast new content being published on your blog in the social space.
What Is The Main Topic Of Your Blog?
Information architecture is your ticket to your target audience and good keyword rankings. This is where WordPress REALLY SHINES! By default you can create a blog title (Your main subject above) in your blog software. In fact, it should be one of the first things you do when installing and setting up a WordPress blog.
After you have given your blog the main identity (Title of the blog) it’s time to think of a catchy tagline that should also help new visitors understand your subject. Now, let’s move into selecting category topics.

Choose Your Categories Wisely
Categories will show your visitors an outline of the topics you blog about. Sometimes tags are associated with categories. Tags and categories have 2 different uses:
- Tags are like chapters to a book. When a visitor accesses your information it is often done using a keyword. Tags will keep all your information organized under relevant keywords. Search engines do index tagged categories. For example someone may type in “import cars” into Google search. If you have content on your site with “import car” tags, that tagged section of your blog may display in Google’s result pages.
- Categories are a full index of the content in each category you create. They a re usually included in the side menu. Visitors can click each category to reveal its full contents. They are easy to create and can include a “Slug”. This is a short descriptive word or phrase that describes each entry. It is often used to shorten the filename. By default WordPress names your file from the title. If you use a slug, that will become your filename (URI).
