The reason I have listed these sites is the integration of the GATC (Google Analytics tracking code) is much easier. We can simply follow the instructions each software manufacturer provides. If your site uses custom ecommerce software you will need to follow the instructions on the Google Analytics website.
Custom Ecommerce Set Up
Identify the checkout page where a custom installation is required. Here’s how the tracking code works …
- Creates transaction objects
- Adding items to transactions
- Send transactions to Google servers
Once ecommerce tracking is configured on your website set up the interface so it is ecommerce enabled. You’ll also want to optimize your account with goal funnels, an ecom profile and filters that are specific to your website’s core goals.
After installing the tracking code using software assistance or custom form variables, it must be tested to make sure it is recording the correct data.

Those programs really make ecom integration easy but I would still test using firebug and report data. http://getfirebug.com/
